Puget Sound Nautical Wood Chart Serving Tray

The Woodchart Puget Sound Wood Serving Tray is made from precision laser cut and etched Baltic birch. The water area is stained blue/green and is recessed 1 layer below the land and islands to give a dimensional look. The lakes show water depth contours with soundings laser etched on each contour. This serving tray with a 3D Map of Puget Sound shows precise shorelines, highways, landmarks and lettering. Special finishing techniques bring out the natural grain of the Baltic Birch.

  • The tray measures 12" X 20" with the sides being about 2 inches high.
  • The artwork is covered by crystal clear acrylic. Edges are sealed to protect against spills.

i first saw the Puget Sound serving tray at a friend's house who had recently purchased it.  Growing up in the Puget  Sound area all my life, I knew I had to have one.  It even shows our small lake we have a summer cabin on.   I will show it to others with pride.   I have a friend that would love the San Juan tray.

Purchased as a gift.   A request was made for the large wall map you have available but could not afford it, but  when I saw the map tray I had another option to go with.   My daughter and son-in-law live in the Seabeck area of WA state and therefore have ventured out to a lot of the places that appear on the map.   The map itself is covered with plastic that will protect the map and the tray is very substantial.   I like that they can choose to use it as a serving tray or display it on the wall.   A hook(s) of some type just needs to be added to the back of the tray and hung which ever way is preferred.  Its like two gifts in one!  
This type of tray with your choice of maps is a great gift to give.  Very nicely created.  Awesome!
